I just hope that I never see the demise to too many more tobacco shops. Already closed down the last one I was working at just two weeks ago. Much for the same reason that things are just getting too expensive. But I agree with what you are saying. Tech may be in, but face-to-face time cannot be replaced. We're trying to bridge that tech gap here. We are working hard on it too. But it is hard to acquire a novice smoker's trust when you can't deal with someone directly. I think it's great that the goal of personally taking time to address questions is still being done by a few brave souls. Great article! The big boys--Altadis, Reynolds--have a lock these days on liquid pipe tobacco flavorings. You could try a smaller tobacco company like Cornell and Diehl or McClelland, but I doubt they would sell any toppings (if they still use them). Good luck. hi cm–
